Akashic Records: LIght Workers Must Close the Gap

a LIght Worker on planetI asked the guides of the Akashic Records to speak about the grounding and focusing energy of Virgo for the August new moon. This is what they said:

You are moving into a time of change and profound transformation – more than you realize. You are being called to jettison the extra weight – the ballast – that you do not need, that has been weighing you down, and to streamline your vehicle for take off.

For the purposes of life on planet Earth the practicalities of life are most needed. Although vision and fantasy and inspiration are splendid, if you do not ground them in the details of life they will be of no use.

This is the great divide that so many light workers need to bridge – from the vision to the practical reality.

This practicality is urgently needed in the world from those of you who have the higher vision and are on a mission to bring more light into the world. We want you to make that extra effort – to close the gap between inspiration and reality.

Picture it as a down-flow that comes to you from above and descends through your being to reach the Earth. For many that beautiful energy stays hovering a few inches above and never makes it down to where it can profoundly shift matter.

That is the gap we speak of – down into the lower chakras of responsible action, practical application, grounded being. For some, details do not come naturally and visioning is more comfortable than effort and structure. To you we say – make that effort to the degree that you can and you will be greatly rewarded.

You have much help now and you do not have to betray anything of value to yourself. You are spiritual beings having a human adventure on planet Earth for a highly valued purpose.

Both feet on the ground is the way to make your purpose come to life. Avail yourself of the beautiful and sincere energies of Virgo and the other planetary helpers now surrounding you. And you will be amazed to see how quickly things begin to shift around you.

New Moon in Virgo: Ground and achieve

a New moon over water (small)THIS COMING NEW MOON IN VIRGO is Monday, Aug. 25th, at 7:13 a.m. Pacific, 10:13 a.m. Eastern, 3:13 p.m. GMT. (The intentions are best set around that time, or within 8 hours after, but within the next two days is fine.)

Monday’s New Moon in Virgo (amplified by Sun in Virgo) will help us get focused and grounded in achieving our goals realistically. Because it’s opposed by Neptune in Pisces, it’s also advised to bring in higher guidance. Not only that, but a powerful configuration called a “Finger of God” at the same time will super-charge the Virgo energy.

This “Finger of God” includes the planets Uranus, Mercury, Mars and Saturn conjunct. Together they will give us the clarity, courage, motivation, and enthusiasm to take stock of our lives, release what is holding us back, and move forward energetically on our soul’s path.

The way the planets are lining up is a HUGE boost to our intentions and a fabulous way to move into the “new beginning” energy of September. They can help us get things done that we’ve been putting off for a long time. (I’m already clearing out years’ worth of clutter!)

VIRGO is known for focus on details, work, service, health, organization, daily routines, analysis and synthesis. It’s very practical and supports a methodical approach to what will really support us, giving us a stable foundation – this month tempered by that imaginative and spiritual Neptune/Pisces energy.

The areas to focus on when setting intentions this week include:

  • WorkJobs, work projects, tasks, structures, efficient work routines,  valuing hard work and high standards, relationships with co-workers;
  • Organization – Handing details, orderly environments, efficiency and planning, scheduling, paperwork, punctuality, time management, rituals and routines;
  • Service – Practical helpfulness, adaptability to others, desire to contribute to the greater good, purity of intention to benefit others;
  • Health – Diet, exercise, establishing good health habits, weight control, healing, finding the right health practitioners;
  • Clear Discrimination – Analysis, critical thinking, discernment, focus on priorities and here-and-now realistic opportunities, not fantasy;
  • Synthesis – Seeing the big picture and how the pieces fit together,  commitment to excellence, bringing order out of chaos; emphasis on wholeness;
  • Overcoming Perfectionism – Including excessive worry, self-judgment, blaming others, being overly critical, needing to be right, workaholism.
  • For health it concerns abdominal issues, such as bowels and intestines, constipation and diarrhea, digestion and assimilation.

See which topics relate to particular issues you’re working with now. This is an excellent time to put in place new rituals or routines in key areas of your life.

Here are some tips for how to use the New Moon energy to plant effective wishes/ intentions/ visions:

1. Write them by hand. (You might want to keep a New Moon Magic journal – that’s what I’m doing. Or you could write them on cards and keep them in a drawer.)

2. Choose more than one but no more than ten wishes or intentions. (To activate but not dissipate the energy.)

3. Wait until the actual New Moon time or 8 hours after (between 10:13 a.m. and 6:13 p.m. Eastern, on August 25th) or within 48 hours after that (through Wednesday, Aug. 27th around 6:13 p.m. ET). Let the wishes form and choose the ones that feel most harmonious and right to you at that time.

4. In phrasing your intentions feel free to say “I choose, I intend, I create, I wish or want to experience, I request, I ask for, I call to me……” or any language that feels right to you.

5. You might want to say them out loud after you write them down.

6. Some recommend lighting a candle.

Keeping our written intentions where we can refer back to them later, to see which actually came true, is part of this experiment.

I have also created a NEW MOON MAGIC FACEBOOK PAGEfor sharing our New Moon Intentions, if you’d like to do that. Please click on above link to join me there – and click “Join group” in upper right corner if you want to join.

Wishing you a rich and fertile planting of seeds in this New Moon! May you be highly empowered as you go forward.

Akashic Records: The Meaning of Your Life

a peonyI asked the Guides of the Akashic Records to speak to the topic of the soul’s purpose in incarnating, and the meaning of each life. This is what they said:

A soul is more than just this incarnation, as you know. And the meaning of a particular lifetime is minor when compared to the great arc of discovery and exploration that is the destiny of a soul’s entire existence.

Each soul is like a bud that must open over time. Each lifetime can be compared to one petal of that flower. You do not know the whole beauty of your soul from viewing a single petal.

And yet, that petal is significant and essential.

Each lifetime is an expression of one or more petals – the ones that have already opened and are well established and the new petal that is being developed in this time. It is a gradual process that takes place over many incarnations and experiences in the life of a soul.

From your perspective in this life, you are the one, the totality. But from the higher vantage point your life is seen as a petal opening in a most beautiful flower whose entire fullness you cannot yet see.

Allow the petals of your lifetime to come to full expression. Nothing more and nothing less. Enjoy the accomplishment of the petals that have already opened and which provide your life with its richness and blessings. Know that the challenges of this life are also here to help you develop the next stage of your truth.

What a beautiful and miraculous journey you are on – the full meaning of which you cannot know until all are assembled in the final garden of joy and delight.

Helping my best friend die…

a Dancing on the Bridge 3Helping my best friend die was perhaps the most profound experience of my life.

A few weeks ago I spent an extraordinary two-day intensive with my very closest friend –  who happened to be dying.

We explored the themes, challenges, and triumphs of her life until big patterns were revealed. It was profound and revelatory and what we discovered together thrilled and surprised us both.

We decided to call this process “Dancing on the Bridge: Making Meaning at the End of Life.”

At the end of our work together, my friend declared: “Now I know the meaning of my incarnation. I did it! I feel like I did what I came here to do!”

This is a woman who all her life had crippling self-doubt about not having “accomplished enough” by conventional standards. Although highly creative and multi-talented, she never went “all the way” in any one direction. She never got the acknowledgement of becoming “official” in any of the ways she excelled.

When we saw the underlying patterns, they had to do with her genius for appreciation, her sense of delight andecstatic pleasure in the uniqueness of each thing and each human being, a vast love and compassion for all people and cultures, and a desire to heal the split between spirit and body.

We discovered that by her soul’s standards, she embodied precisely, brilliantly, and exuberantly the magic of what she came to stand for in this world. In fact, this was evident to all who knew her. Yet it took her till the end of her life to become fully at peace with who she was and her amazing gifts.

The good news is: we don’t have to wait till the end of our life to do this life-changing work. We can look deep into our souls while we still (probably) have plenty of time left to enjoy what we discover.

I do think this work is appropriate for a mature, ripened human, who has had time to cook and simmer for a while. It takes an open mind and deep heart and I dare say a highly perceptive and skillful companion/guide .

Two weeks to the day after my friend and I did this deep exploration she departed this world, sooner than expected. Three days after that I found myself at the lectern of a cathedral church, addressing hundreds of friends, family and acquaintances gathered to honor this magnificent being who had such an impact on all who knew her.

It was my honor to bear witness to her unique essence, and especially to what was revealed in our last time together – and how it had brought her a sense of completion and deep acceptance. Many people thanked me for my words and for the role I was able to play in bringing her that final satisfaction of knowing who she was.

This entire experience has been one of the most profound, powerful, and humbling of my life.

It has also inspired me to want to offer a similar service as part of my work.

If this speaks to you, and you’d like to explore what’s possible, please get in touch. I know the human soul is infinite in its radiance and wants to be known.
